Welcome Mama!
I’m a maternity, newborn, and family photographer based in Southeast, Alabama.
In addition to photographer, I hold many titles— but wife and mama are the ones I’m most proud of. I’ve been married to the best man I’ve ever known, Landan, for 6 wonderful years, and together we’re raising two beautiful boys, Reid and Whitt. My handsome little guys keep our lives wild, fun, and full of joy.
Alongside being a wife, mama, and photographer, I’ve spent the last 10 years working full time as a registered nurse — a role that’s deepened my appreciation for just how sacred and fleeting these moments truly are. I’m also a proud cow mama (yes, really!) and spend just as much time in the pasture as I do in the studio.
Whether you’re celebrating your first baby or embracing the chaos of family life, I’m here to help you remember every sweet, meaningful detail — with images that feel as genuine as the moments themselves.
I'm Laura

My passion for documenting life’s precious moments started when I was just a little girl. I always had one of those old disposable cameras in my hand, snapping photos and filling up scrapbooks with my favorite memories. Even then, I knew how important it was to hold onto the moments that mattered.
But it wasn’t until I had my first son that I truly understood the power of a photograph. As much as I tried to memorize every detail of his infancy, I quickly realized that time moves far too quickly — and no matter how hard I tried to hold on, some of those tiny, beautiful details would begin to fade.
So I picked up my camera with intention. I began documenting everything. His squishy baby rolls, his birthmarks, his contagious smile, his fat little feet, and the way he curled into my chest each night as I rocked him to sleep. The things many might call “mundane” were the exact things I never wanted to forget.
Now, just a few years later, I’m so thankful I had the foresight to capture it all. My oldest is now almost 4 and many of those early memories have faded and are just a blur (thank you, PPD). I find myself constantly returning to those images — little reminders of all the joy and love he brought into our lives.
As your forever photographer, I want the same for you. No matter what season of motherhood you're in, it's never too early — or too late — to start preserving the moments that matter. Let me help you document your family’s story in a way that feels true, timeless, and full of heart.
